If you thought that drip cakes were 'so 2016', you were so wrong. They're here to stay and rule the dessert world! For birthdays, anniversaries, valentines or even those boring office events, a drip cake will always be the best.

A local bakery of course aren't stocked with these most of the time as they are 'extra af', so you will need to talk to a place that does specialty cakes. Even better, why not make one?!

There are so many instagram pages and food magazines like The Dine and Wine; that feature tutorials.

Whether the base is made out of a soft vanilla, strawberry, coffee or a delicious chocolate base, there's something that's always very characteristic of drip cakes- and that's the dripping, over-the-top topping!

These can come in a variety of forms that range from colourful candies to beautiful sugar (or natural) flowers; and berries. The signature drip can be made from either chocolate ganache, salted caramel or any other drippy, gooey goodness you can think of! 🎂🍮 #DripCake

It's basically a sushi that gets the name 'taco' attached to it because the white rice topped with succulent vegetables, fish or meat are packed inside a circular seaweed shell, instead of an orthodox corn tortilla.

There is also a variation of the Sushi Taco featuring a crispy fried nori shell. 🍣🌮
