Top 5 Things To Do With Kids In Bali - Fun For The Whole Family!

Bali has a range of activities to suit the whole family from nature walks to water sports, and even animal safaris. Bali with kids can be loads of fun, so here's a list of the top five things to try.

1

Banana boat rides

Bali offers up plenty of opportunity for fun under the sun, and splashing about in the water is definitely one of them. Get the whole family together and hop on a banana boat for an exhilarating ride. Depending on the size of the boat, the yellow inflatables can accommodate up to five or six people at once The fast-paced ride is safe enough for small kids, and older ones can opt for a more fun rodeo style ride ride with sharp turns.

2

Bali Treetop Adventure Park

Swing through the treetops like Tarzan at the Bali Treetop Adventure Park. Located in Bali's central highlands - parents and kids alike will enjoy the seven main circuits that covers an extensive area, divided for each skill level. Fly across from tree to tree on a 160 meter long zip-line or try your luck at one of the tightrope courses, or test your agility and explore the suspended rope bridges and spider nets.

3

Bali Safari and Marine Park

Featuring exotic species of flora and fauna, the island has a great selection of animal attractions to keep any child entertained. The best place to visit is the Bali Safari and Marine Park - covering around 40 hectares of land, the park houses 60 different species, all of whom roam free in large natural enclosure that mimic their wild habitats. Take a safari tour and visit each enclosure, where you'll get to see majestic elephants and cute baby orangutans, before stopping at the aquarium to view the baby sharks. Bring some extra clothes and end the trip with a dip at the adjacent water park.

4

Bali Wake Park

You don't need to head out to the beach to enjoy water sports here. Located in Benoa, not far from all the resorts such as Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa, is the Bali Wake Park, known for its fun wakeboarding sessions. The cable system used to create the waves allows you to try out a number of water sports. There's even a kids programme for children six and above, so parents can relax knowing their kids are enjoying a fun and safe experience.

5

Ayung River Rafting

The central highlands are best known for its rolling greens hills, forests and great family accommodation in Bali, but the valley of the Ayung River is where you go in search of adventure. The Ayung is one of the best rivers for white water rafting in Bali, and with good reason too! It offers options for all skill levels, and different tour guides can be found along the 75km stretch at intervals. The series of rapids, both rocky and gentle are great for all ages to experience. However, for safety reasons, only children 7 years and above are allowed on a raft.
