In India, parents always scold their kids when they ask for junk food. But they are completely fine when their kids are eating unhealthy Indian snacks which are high in fat or sugar or Cholesterol.

In their childhood only, these children get captured by such diseases which get difficult to terminate them.

1

Pakoras

Pakoras

This is one of the most deep fried dishes where the major nutrient your body is consuming is fat. If you are eating it on the roadside, then you will see that they use same oil again and again for frying these pakoras, and it even becomes so unhealthier, as oil loses its entire nutrition.

2

Samosa

Samosa

Samosa is one of the favourite snacks of all time. It is found that no party is complete without it. But just for your general knowledge, each Samosa has 20g of fat, the same as that of a large slab of butter. Samosa is also a deep fried cuisine which eliminates all the benefits of oil.

3

Chola Bhature

Chola Bhature

Of all the snacks on this list is Chole Bhature, which is highest in saturated fats and calories. If you will squeeze the bhature, you can use the oil left from it for the whole day. And those people who consume Chole Bhature can feel the problem of Cholesterol. Because it consists of the excess of oil which is very harmful to your body. Not only it increase your Cholesterol, instead, it makes you fat and increases your uric acid too.

Jalebi

Jalebi

Jalebi is the queen of unhealthy food. Not only it is deeply fried, it is also coated with the sugar syrup to make it super unhealthy. As we know, an excess of sugar is injurious to health. It can lead to diabetes and once it occurs, then you have to avoid the sugar or sugar made dishes for your whole life.

Bhujia Sev

Bhujia Sev

Bhujia sev is a popular item which is added to most of the snacks and is usually consumed everyday with tea or coffee. I have seen people adding it to sprout chat also thereby making even sprouts unhealthy. Hats off to Bhujia Sev!!

Vada PavVada Pav

Vada PavVada Pav

Honestly speaking, there is nothing much unhealthier than piling on fried batata vada stuffed with potatoes and bread into your mouth and stomach. A single deep fried vada pav can have as many as 286 calories or even more.

7

Parathas

Parathas

Parathas are the most famous North Indian favourite dish which is consumed in breakfast. Parathas by themselves are a healthy food if not fried as they have vegetables and wheat (not for the gluten-free lovers though). However, the addition of all that butter and pickle to dip and fried it into makes the paratha as unhealthy as possible.

8

Pattice

Pattice

Pattice is full of potato and that too deeply fried. This only increases the unwanted starch and carbohydrates in our body. And still we see ladies wanting to end their fast by having the heart shaped pattice which only increases their body fat and make them obese.

9

Puri Bhaji

Puri Bhaji

A favourite pretty much all over India, this dish comes with its various variants. While in some places the bhaji consists of potato chunks boiled and sauteed, in other places there is a mixed vegetable of sorts called karma. Whatever the variation, the dish is extremely unhealthy. Puris are fried and potatoes are not the best vegetable to eat in the morning.

10

Pani Puri

Pani Puri

No matter by what name you may address Pani Puri as, or no matter how much ever you try to defend it, pani puris aka golgappas aka puchkas are unhealthy. The deep fried puris are not at all healthy (you never know if it was prepared in stored oil). In addition, the mixture of chutney too can cause a problem for you the next day in the morning.
