Cable Beach

Earning its name thanks to the underwater telegraphic cable that reaches the beach from Java Cable Beach is one of the most breathtaking beaches in all of Broome. Spread out across 14 miles the white, sandy shores of the beach are known as one of the most level or even beaches one comes across in Australia. Ideal for swimming activities vacationers can also witness a confluence of box jellyfish occupying the water close to the beach during the between November and March. A popular haunt among 4 wheel drive enthusiasts' visitors can also take part in a camel ride at sunset on Cable Beach daily. Another attraction located close to Cable Beach is Minyirr Park which lies to the east of the venue and is considered as a coastal sanctuary initiated by the Rubibi community and the Shire of Broome.
