Patients who have experienced this sort of 10-minute treatment before they come to me frequently state that they had the impression the practitioner was focused more on treating them quickly and having them come back frequently. I would say the ‘successful’ ones often appear caring, sympathetic and professional, this makes patients generally less likely to ask why they have to come in for treatment several times a week (which is absolutely not needed) or why they haven’t experienced much in the way of relief even though they’ve had 3 treatments. I can promise you that you can’t effectively treat poor posture or chronic pain in just 10 minutes, even if that’s a full 10 minutes of treatment; bear in mind that only a portion of that 10 minutes may be dedicated to hands on treatment, by the time a ‘meet and greet’ is done, a discussion on how/what/if changes have been made since the previous treatment and tests (if required), you might be getting five minutes of active treatment!
