LETS Cork-from Donal OR In Cork -started in 1994, it ran well for a good few years, gradually diminished to a tiny number and has relaunched last October with a new currency. The issue of taxes is something we have dealt with. We have a transaction tax, which horrifies some people at first, but we realised that the administration of the system would not happen if someone was not paid to do the job. We use an electronic system now, but used paper until the changeover.
