To Begin: We start by breaking down the house into components such as:** i. The Basement; ii. The Main Floor; iii. The Master Bedroom; iv. The rest of the 2nd floor; v. The garage; vi. The exterior; vii. The roof; viii. The Major Systems; and, ix. The Landscaping and Curb appeal**.
Now, take a blank piece of lined paper and a clip board and go into each area you've created above and be as brutally honest as you can be for each area. Ask yourself: Does this work? What doesn't work about it? What distracts? What helps? Would I buy this house if I saw a room looking like this?
