This restaurant has been open since 1962; it specialises in Thai and local Chanthaburi specials. The menu is not huge but more than adequate to get a taste of the delicious dishes the area is synonymous for. You should try the pork cooked with chamung leaves; a slow roasted pork shoulder that is cooked to a rich consistency with local chamung leaves this is a melt in your mouth dish. The Chanthaburi crab noodles served here are the best, it is a dish of sautéed rice noodles that quite spicy and bursting with crab meat. Another must try is san wa a shrimp paste that is served with strips of lemon grass and raw vegetables.
