1

Take Along Some Stylish Accessories

Looking good while being comfortable on a beach vacation are basic rules. For this purpose you will need accessories such as a tote bag; in the latest style and colours of course. Mind you that bag should serve the purpose of looking good while being useful. It should carry your beach towel, sunscreen, reading material – if required – snacks, water and other little knick knacks you take to the beach.

2

Sun Shields are very Important

Don't forget to pack your favourite pair of shades. Beach vacations especially in tropical destinations like Sri Lanka will ensure you get plenty of golden sunshine. In fact if you book accommodation at a beach hotel in Sri Lanka chances are it will be right on the beach; as such expect loads of sunshine. In addition to sunglasses take along a comfortable hat that will let you enjoy those lovely walks on the beach.

3

Extra Spectacles and Contact Lenses will be Handy

If you do wear spectacles or contact lenses take along an extra pair. This is a wise precaution to take in order to not get into a sticky situation once overseas.

4

Pack Proper Beach Wear

There are always two types of swimsuits that most ladies take along. One to look fabulous in and one for actually swimming in; choose practically for destinations like Sri Lanka or Maldives have such enticing waters that one spends a lot of time actually swimming in the fabulous Indian Ocean. Taka along a swimsuit cover up as well; for example places like Heritance Ahungalla are quite close to fascinating turtle hatcheries that one can visit along the lovely beaches. Apart from this example a swimsuit cover up will prove to be very handy in case you decide on a sudden excursion to nearby attractions or the weather takes a turn.

5

Equipment to help Enjoy Your Time at the Beach

If you are travelling overseas small items such as alarm clocks and batteries for cameras and other electronic items may prove to be handy. Pack a nice comfy beach blanket, large enough to accommodate you on while catching some sun or reading a book. In addition if you are visiting a resort close to home via private vehicle, consider taking along a beach chair, beach umbrella and beach toys such as balls or body boards.
