The island of Koh Samui has long been a favourite among honeymooners and unmarried couples alike. The setting here is incredibly romantic owing to the island's pristine beaches and sparking, turquoise waters.
This is indeed a spot that has facilitated some of the country's most romantic vacations of all times. If you search for romantic destinations in Thailand online, Koh Samui is sure to feature prominently.

This town is situated in a Thai province that goes by the same name, and can be found along the country's southwest coast.
The terrain here is quite varied, with forests of mangroves, limestone cliffs and many islands just off of the coast such as Koh Hong and the Phi Phi Islands.
The former is a deserted island which is said to be quite picturesque and therefore perfect for a romantic escape.
Krabi is extremely popular as a tourist town, and is ideal for those couples among you who like to be active and sporty on holiday. 🏊🚣
The area offers many outdoor adventures such as rock climbing, island hopping and kayaking along with the usual seaside activites such as swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving.
If the idea of working up a sweat by rock climbing sounds like perfect date idea, then head over to Railay Beach which is a popular spot for this activity and which can only be reached via boat, thereby offering quite a bit of privacy as well as excitement.

While Bangkok is sometimes overlooked as an ideal romantic destination when compared with all the picture perfect islands that Thailand has to offer, it also offers many opportunities for love to blossom.
Apart from the many exemplary on-land options it has to offer lovebirds, the capital is also where many luxury cruises such as those down the Chao Praya River, operate.

Koh Hai is a lovely island situated off the coast to Krabi's south. This tiny island promises stretches of ivory sands, clear, shimmering waters and an expanse of lush greenery from the jungle that blankets most of the land.
Development of modern infrastructure such as roads have been purposefully arrested here in order to protect the natural charms of the island.
All these features combine to make Koh Hai one of the most peaceful and romantic islands that you can find in the country. 🛶⛵️
