Best Bible Commentaries on Mark

Mark is the second book of the New Testament and one of the four gospels. Authorship is traditionally attributed to John Mark, companion of Peter. Mark's gospels begins with Jesus’ public ministry and concludes with his death and resurrection. Mark’s purpose is largely evangelistic as he writes to present Jesus’ as God's Servant evidenced by his miracles. Commentaries on Mark often address the theme of Jesus as a servant, his miracles, the resistance he encountered, as well as his death and resurrection.
