Around the World in a SWAY, Tales of Skype in the Classroom Adventures

By having Skype in the Classroom Virtual Field Trips, I found a new way to move beyond the classroom walls. During the last 4 months, my students and I have embarked on different Virtual Field Trips and we had the chance to talk to inspiring people who:
*Protect endangered species
*Raise awareness on the effects of pollution & how to prevent it.
*Work for national parks educating people to care for animals and natural resources.
*Devote their lives to create a better world for future generations.

Then, students worked collaboratively on the same SWAY sharing their adventures with Skype in the Classroom.

After each Virtual Field Trip, I posted a picture with a positive comment on TWITTER to help other educators worldwide innovate and to move beyond the classroom walls!
