Silence! The Musical

Silence! The Musical is an award winning musical created by Jon and Al Kaplan as a parody of the 1991 film The Silence of the Lambs. The project began in 2003 as an internet musical made up of nine songs that retold the entire story. The audio tracks became popular to the extent that a live show was conceived and staged. Six additional songs were written by Jon and Al, and the book was written by Hunter Bell, based on the original screenplay Silence! The Musical, also by Jon and Al Kaplan. A soundtrack album featuring the original nine tracks was made available "For fun only. Not for sale."

Chaplin

CHAPLIN the Musical on Broadway tells the story of film icon Charlie Chaplin. The music and lyrics are by Christopher Curtis; the book is by Thomas Meehan and Christopher Curtis and the show is directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle. Performances being at Broadway's Barrymore Theatre on August 21, 2012; Opening Night is September 10, 2012.

The Light in the Piazza

The Light in the Piazza is a musical with a book by Craig Lucas and music and lyrics by Adam Guettel. Based on a novella by Elizabeth Spencer, the story is set in the 1950s and revolves around Margaret Johnson, a wealthy Southern woman and her emotionally stalled daughter, Clara, who spend a summer together in Italy. When Clara falls in love with a young Italian man, Margaret is forced to reconsider not only Clara's future, but her own deep seated hopes and regrets as well.

Sunset Boulevard

Sunset Boulevard is a musical with book and lyrics by Don Black and Christopher Hampton and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Based on the 1950 film of the same title, the plot revolves around Norma Desmond, a faded star of the silent screen era, living in the past in her decaying mansion on the fabled Los Angeles street. When young screenwriter Joe Gillis accidentally crosses her path, she sees in him an opportunity to make her comeback to the big screen. Romance and tragedy follow.
