Last year, it was announced that more than 4 million people have now benefitted from Invisalign clear aligners treatment. Conventional metal braces can be uncomfortable; the wires and metal brackets that are used to align the teeth protrude and can scratch the inside of the mouth and gums. Made from wafer thin medical grade plastic, Invisalign braces are hard to see, especially for someone that doesn’t know you are wearing them. Whilst many adults hate the idea of highly visible metal braces, Invisalign provides the confidence for more people to address their smile if they are not happy.
In some cases, metal braces can take 2 years or more to achieve the ideal results. In contrast, Invisalign treatment will usually only take between 1 and 1.5 years to straighten your teeth.
