Lesser Known Beaches in Phuket you haven't Heard of – Quiet and Deserted Sanctuaries

Phuket may be a thriving tourist resort city but did you know the place still harbours a number of secret little beaches? . Fabulous sanctuaries of sun sand and sea, here are some Phuket's covert beaches.

Mai Khao Beach is located within a beautiful national park; due to this the place is well protected secluded and drop dead gorgeous.

Peace levels at this park are just perfect, no noisy crowds and rowdy tourists. Chill, snooze and dream the day away on the sandy confines of Mai Khao. If we were to rate the condition of the sand it would be a perfect score. Cleanliness levels are very high and although the secluded beach may not be inundated with lots of cafes and bars you can find plenty at nearby Nai Yang Park. 🌴

Besides a bevy of entertainment and dining venues would only spoil the hidden paradise appearance of this beach.

Freedom Beach – Most Beautiful Beach

Freedom Beach is quite close to Patong and one of the most beautiful in Phuket. It is also one of the most blissful and isolated on the resort.

Here's why; Freedom Beach can only be reached via long tail boat and the cost of a ride is quite exorbitant. But it's well worth splurging on for a chance to savour the solitary beauty of the place.

Mind you if land access does become possible the beach would be flooded with all manner of tourists, so get there while you can still enjoy the solitude.

The beach boasts very soft white sand and turquoise blue waters well worth the long tail boat ride which by the way is only possible during the high season of December to June. Just like Sandy Beach Trips this place caters to all beach lovers and is well worth a visit 🏖

One of the best-deserted beaches in Phuket, Haad Sai Kaew is the last stretch of sand before the Sarasin Bridge.

The long stretch of beach is serviced by a few bamboo cafes that do charge a higher premium on food than others. It's worth it though if you are hankering for a stretch of paradise far from the maddening crowds.

Sand conditions and swimming too are of excellent quality here while the peace level most definitely is perfect. 🏊

Banana Beach – Well Hidden Gem

This is one of the most secluded beaches in Phuket. Utterly stunning the place is frequented by few tourists' intent on discovering the best secrets of the resort.

Visit Banana Beach during low season and enjoy total isolation. Access to the beach is via a steep incline and the path is rather hard to come by; swimming is great though making the steep climb well worth the effort.

There is one local restaurant, a few toilets and sun chairs in the area. 🌅😎

5

Ao Sane Beach

Ao Sane, although located close to the very prominent Nai Harn, has not been discovered by many. Perhaps this beautifully rugged beach is still a secret due to the fact that it's accessed from under the Phuket Yacht Club!

You basically need to drive through a tunnel located under this resort in order to reach the beach. Ao Sane is made up of 3 scenic bays which you can access by crossing through local bungalows. 🌅
