The second largest resort area in Samui after Chaweng, the Lamai Beach is more peaceful and less busy than its big sister. Situated in an isolated location, it is extremely close to the island's main car ferry pier, making travelling to the beach quite convenient. The shallow waters have no rocks or corals found in its bed, making it a safe beach for kids to swim in.
