Dog Friendly Eateries in Brisbane – For My Dog and I

Dinners for us means dinners for our dogs. After all, dogs are no less a family member than anyone else. Here are a few eateries in Brisbane that shares this attitude.

1

Alcove Café and Deli

A charming little café with its very own herb garden, the Alcove Café and Deli has an inviting ambience to it. With an interesting menu and breakfast meals available all day long, the Alcove is a comfortable café to run to every time you crave something simple yet delicious. Plus they have got a yummilicious dessert menu and literal home style lunches that are cooked with the exact quality and familiarity of a homemade meal. As for your doggies, there is a perfect place for dog hitching and a bowl of water left just for them. At the Alcove the dogs are bound to feel just as comfortable as their owners.

2

Sassafras Canteen

When it comes to pet friendliness, Sassafras probably tops the list. With a small indoor and outdoor area, Sassafras is perfect for all day breakfasts and a variety of baked items. It has been up and running for 17 years this café and one thing for sure is they really know their way around coffee. If the dogs are tagging along this is probably the best restaurant to head to as your four-legged companions can come with you to the restaurant's exclusive backyard. Featuring plants and a pond this backyard garden has a cosy ambience and also happens to be a favourite among children.

3

Nana and Da's

This really is a gem of a café in Brisbane and even if you have chosen an accommodation in Redcliffe QLD it is worth coming all the way to Nana and Da's. It takes about half an hour from places like Oaks Mon Komo but the fluffy American pancakes, pies and muffins to die for along with the unique and exciting breakfast collection makes it a place worth coming to. It is small, cosy and a perfect place to feel comfortable; especially if you are craving for a little "me" time in the middle of a busy day. As for the four-legged family members, Nana and Da's are happy to share the love. There is a large bowl of water left for them which they can lap away at while you dig into your delicious meals.

4

Tall Short Espresso

If you are looking for a place to let the doggies stretch out a little, the Tall Short Espresso has the perfect spot for you. There is a dedicated patch of grass just for your favourite companion plus a leash post and some water. Dogs would love it here and so would their owners. The Tall Short Espresso is also a coffeeholic's haven and the wonders that these people can do with their coffee beans is in truth, limitless.
