The Eleven Rooftop Bar is open till 12am on weekdays and till 3am weekends making it a beloved wind down spot among corporate clientele. Located just over a kilometre from Oaks Aurora Tower, among the popular Brisbane accommodation apartments, it is even frequented by tourists in the city. The view and the drinks; nothing beats the relaxation the two can provide when combined. Even if you are looking to simply pop in, to grab a quick drink, the view that this bar features makes any effort absolutely worthwhile.
Now there are many who love their bars to have a touch of the "quirky" and that is precisely what you get at the Woolly Mammoth Alehouse. With its line of craft beers and bocce courts, it is hard not to have a ball of a time in a place like the Woolly Mammoth. Gig-goers would find the main stage on the upper floor lots of fun and for those looking for a relaxing spot to have their drink, the garden bar on the ground floor provides an ideal setting.
If you are the kind of person who is into the spontaneous kind of drinking you would be drawn to the hip and happening Down Under Bar. There is a reason why this is fondly referred to as the backpacker's bar and that is because it is open any day of the week. This is its biggest highlight. So expect to see wild beach theme parties on a random Tuesday and drag queens perhaps on Wednesday and interestingly "cheesy" music throughout the week. It's plenty fun alright and for those 'one too many shots' kind of nights that you are unlikely to remember, the Down Under Bar is the perfect place to hang out!
You get Bloody Mary's here that you can kill for! In fact, if you are a fan of whisky, this bar is among the favourites. The interiors though are humble. However, the lively ambiance makes it a constant crowd puller. Meet up with friends, or drink up after work, the Sabotage Social has everything from a fantastic outdoor courtyard and great beer to an excellent choice of food. If you are looking for main meals though make sure you visit after 6pm.
