Top 9 Water Parks in Bangkok - Fun ways to beat the Sun

Hot humid weather calls for a splash of water. When that water comes in the form of an exciting water park, what else can you ask for!

1

Fantasia Lagoon Water Parks

When you shop around Bangkok, you might have come across water parks on the top floor of The Mall Ngamwongwan or at Bang Kapi mall. These are branches of the Fantasia Lagoon Water Park, which specially focuses on providing fun for toddlers. There are water slides, shallow water pools, as well as whirlpools and bigger water slides for a bit of excitement.

2

Skippy Waterland

Located just over half an hour from Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel, you can visit Skippy Waterland as a way to keep your kids entertained while you shop at Plus Mall. Although rather small, it has everything to capture the mind of a young child with special features for toddler play.

3

Siam Park City

Featured in every Bangkok city guide, Siam Park City is over three decades old and is one of the most famous water parks in Bangkok. There are wave pools, massive water slides, a Super Spiral that is 400m, and an amusement park for times when you want a break from the water.

4

Black Mountain Water Park

This water park caters to both children as well as adults. The younger ones can play around in the kids' pool, while the older ones can take a slide down the 17m tower, where nine different water slides originate. There is a lazy river, a wave pool, and modern facilities that will make the trip more convenient for you.

5

Vana Nava Hua Hin

Being among the key water parks of Thailand, Vana Nava Hua Hin is based on a jungle theme. There is a massive Abyss slide, a zone dedicated for adrenaline-pumping rides and slides as well as a separate Rain Fortress where toddlers and young children can slide down baby slides and play with interactive fountains.

6

Santorini Water Fantasy

It is better that you leave behind young children for a visit to Santorini. The key attraction here is a 78m long water slide named Ares' King Cobra, where riders are plummeted down at a speed of 50km/h. There are five other high-adrenaline rides as well, making it best suited for adventurous adults.

7

Splashdown Water Park Pattaya

With a 50-feet water slide, slides that test your ability to not get wiped out and zorb racers, this park is better suited for teens and adults. The rides are fun and highly exciting, that the water park provides life jackets, helmets, and other safety equipment to the visitors.

8

Cartoon Network Amazone

Ten cartoons, ten themes, this park is perfect for the whole family. Zones are named after popular cartoons like The Powerpuff Girls and Ben 10, making it a good blend of adult rides and fun for the younger children. It is also home to the largest water playground in the world and is known to have around 150 features.

9

Jurassic Water Park

The latest player in the field, this water park – contrary to its name – is perfect for younger children. Rides are inflatable, there are plenty of shallow pools and obstacle courses all placed to bring out a friendly dinosaur theme.
