Somerville Cambridge Elder Services

Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services promotes the right of all individuals to live with dignity, in the setting of their choice by offering older people, younger people with disabilities, and caregivers the information, services and support needed to make choices which enhance health, well being and independence.

Citywide Senior Center

The Citywide Senior Center serves as a "one stop” multi-service center for seniors living in Cambridge and the surrounding area.

We at the Commission on Affairs of the Elderly are dedicated to improving the lives of Boston’s older adults by connecting them with resources and information. We're focused on setting the City’s direction for successful aging in Boston.  Our services include assistance in applying for government benefits and community-based services, discount programs, housing advice, transportation options, advocacy, volunteer programs, and information and referral.

Central Boston Elder Services

The Boston Elder Protective Services Program at Central Boston Elder
Services assists persons 60 years and older who are at high risk and are
suffering from either self-neglect, neglect by caregiver, emotional physical
and sexual abuse or financial exploitation.

City of Boston - Meals on Wheels

The City of Boston administers the Elderly Nutrition Program for its seniors. All seniors over 60 and their spouse are eligible to eat at any of the ~40 congregate lunch sites throughout the city. The suggested donation for the meal is $2.00, to help defray the production and delivery cost of the meal.
