Shopping Centers in Sepang - To shop till you drop!

Sepang is an international circuit located close to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Even though shopping here is limited compared to the main city, you do find some interesting options.

Gateway@klia2

The Gateway shopping mall in Sepang, Kuala Lumpur is crammed between the airport's drop-off and the Main Terminal area. This is one of the most popular shopping centres in KL among tourists since it's within the airport. With over a hundred retail outlets and ninety food outlets, this is a massive mall with four levels. You find trendy shops for the best retail therapy experience from well-known international brands to locally sourced trendy apparels. There is also a range of shoes, handbags, accessories, electronic items, gadgets, household products etc available here. For dining, you can pick from a range of international fast-food chains, coffee houses, and local restaurants.

Mitsui Outlet Park (MOP)

Located only 6km away from KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) and in close proximity to many hotels in Sepang such as the AVANI Sepang Goldcoast Resort; the Mitsui Outlet Park shopping mall is a joint venture between a Japanese company and the KLIA. This is factory outlet shopping mall offering a range of upper-middle to high-end brands at discounted rates. You also get a Japanese specialty store here where visitors can learn about Japanese culture, art, music and culinary. If you are into big brands but don't want to overspend then MOP is the best place for you. In terms of dining, you find a gastronomic delight with authentic Malay cuisines as well as oriental to western fare in the food court. There is a free shuttle service bus that commutes between the mall and the KLIA.

Alamanda Shopping Mall

This is a shopper's paradise located in Putrajaya, very close to Sepang. There are shopping, food, and entertainment for the whole family. Located in Precinct 1, the Alamanda Shopping Centre is great for shopping and enjoying mouthwatering meals. Carrefour and Parkson are the main shops but there also close to 150 other tenants in the centre. Apart from shopping and dining you also get bowling alleys and movie theaters at Alamanda. This is the first shopping centre to feature Malaysia's first ever travelator within the mall that connects retails outlets and give direct access to the car parks.

Pavillion Kuala Lumpur Shopping Mall

A short drive from Sepang will take you to the KL city. If you are looking to do some serious shopping then it's best you travel the distance since Sepang's shopping scene is quite limited. The Pavillion Kuala Lumpur Shopping Mall is a trendy fashion arena, which consists of a retail mall, two residential towers, and an office building. The seven-story building has six subsections exclusively for shopping with high-end international brands such as Burberry, Prada to more affordable names such as Espirit and Warehouse. This is not only great for shopping but you can also enjoy a mouthwatering meal while you are there. You also get a movie theater to relax after a busy day of shopping or even to keep the kids occupied while you enjoys a shopping spree.
