This attractive garden which was designed by Bevis Bawa, an eminent landscape artist was formerly only a rubber estate. Visitors will see that this expansive garden is a magnificent creation, featuring a host of lovely elements such as nooks, alcoves, garden sculptures and bowers. You will notice that the gardens are encircled by growths of bamboo. Brief Garden has been subdivided and meticulously landscaped in accordance with various themes with a Japanese-style water garden being amongst its attractions. These turtle hatcheries were created in order to promote the conservation of endangered turtles by rescuing and protecting their eggs. The eggs of these marine turtles are bought from local fishermen and reburied in the sand; when the baby turtles hatch they are collected and later released into the ocean waters. At the hatchery, visitors will have the opportunity to involve themselves in releasing the baby turtles which is done at nighttime.
