Instructions for Home Measurement:
Notice:
Rest for at least 5 minutes before measuring, and 3 minutes between measurements to allow blood circulation to recover.
Sit down in a comfortable, upright position, with legs uncrossed and feet flat on the floor.
Straighten your left arm (or arm closest to your heart) with palm facing up, making sure to support the arm on a table or chair arm.
Place the monitor’s cuff around the upper arm, with the cuff’s tube positioned off-center towards the inner side of the arm (in line with your pinky finger).
The cuff should not be too tight or too loose, meaning you should be able to insert one finger between the cuff and arm.
Taking 2-3 deep breaths before beginning the measurement.
Press”Start” and the monitor will automatically turn on and start the blood pressure test, with results following30 seconds later.

Detailed test results
The A&D UA-651BLE comes with a flexible nylon cuff (9 – 14.6). It may be difficult for some users to wrap the cuff around their own arm and align the artery marker. Although the cuff is not molded, the nylon is stiff. The numbers on the display are not as large as some of the other arm monitors, but we did not find them difficult to read. There is no initial date/time set up for the meter, you sync it to a smart device via Bluetooth and can transfer the readings, once the readings are synced to the smart device, there is a time/date stamp on each reading. A smart device is not required to use this monitor because it has a stand alone display but the readings on the display will not show a time/date stamp. The app allows you to view the results in daily, weekly and monthly average graphs. You can also email or text message results from the app. If your expected systolic pressure exceeds 230 mmHg, you must press and hold the start button until a number 30 to 40 mmHg higher than the expected pressure appears. A larger cuff (12.2 – 17.7 inches) may be purchased separately for about $32.
