In honor of the one-of-a-kind, British symphonic rock band Electric Light Orchestra being selected to be among the Class of 2017 Rock Hall of Fame inductees, djrobblog has created this special countdown of their 25 best songs!
ELO, known for their orchestral approach to rock during the 1970s and early '80s, became a fixture on pop and rock radio for nearly 15 years. Their brand of music, which was heavy on string orchestration and pop melodies, gained them both praise and criticism during their heyday.
But the praise seems to have won the day with this week's announcement, so what follows are the songs that got them to the RRHOF, courtesy of djrobblog.
