1990 to 2016 Miss World

Hundreds of millions of pounds have been raised and donated to local and international organisations in aid of disadvantaged children the world over.
Apart from the commercial work and personal appearances which Miss World is contracted to undertake in each country visited, time is always set aside to allow each country a chance to hold a special function attended by Miss World. All monies raised from ticket sales, raffles, tombolas or donations etc are entirely donated to the underprivileged and handicapped children of that country. The Miss World contestants (with the help of their Miss World National Organisations) have set up Beauty with a Purpose projects in more than 100 countries. This gives tens of thousands of young women every year, the opportunity to use their abilities to make a real and lasting contribution to the lives of the sick and disadvantaged.
