On December 1, we have the Nob Hill Shop and Stroll that offers a variety of gift giving products from our local small businesses.
Set the holiday season in motion with entertainment, dining, shopping, and more! Enjoy holiday specials at the shops throughout Old Town and free admission to the NM Museum of Natural History & Science, Explora and the Albuquerque Museum. Bring the kids to take a photo with Santa in Plaza Vieja and watch the traditional lighting of the largest tree in Albuquerque at 6:15 p.m. in Plaza Don Luis. Join us for this time-honored Albuquerque event on Dec. 2, 2016 from 5-9 p.m.
Holiday joy and festivities come to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center with our annual Pueblo Shop & Stroll. Shop a bazaar featuring Native artists selling handcrafted clay ornaments, nativity sets, jewelry, art, and gifts. Meanwhile, kids will have fun with holiday arts and crafts. At day’s end enjoy a special nighttime Native dance while sipping hot cocoa beside the bonfire or strolling among hundreds of luminarias.
Kick-off the holiday season with Albuquerque's biggest holiday parade, the Twinkle Light Parade, taking place on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at 5:15 p.m. in Historic Nob Hill. It is a spectacular family-friendly holiday event featuring dozens of floats, marching bands, equestrian clubs, fire trucks, car clubs, and businesses. Wrap up the evening with Mr. Claus himself, brought to you by the Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails! This unforgettable parade is sure to dazzle audiences of all ages.
The Festival of Trees is a two-day celebration of the children served by the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation. Admission is free. With over 80 uniquely decorated trees and hundreds of wreaths on display and available for purchase, the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation’s Festival of Trees is the largest in New Mexico!
