Alex is back and she’s mad as hell

Alex is back and she’s mad as hell

The secret is no longer a secret – By now the truth is out that Alex, played by Laura Prepon, has survived the attack she endured during Season 3. After she discovered that she was correct about her suspicions that she was being targeted, she will return to Litchfield but she will be watching her back, and be ready to strike first against any potential threats as she moves forward. I doubt that you’ll be seeing a more timid side of Alex.

There is a problem with the prison population

There is a problem with the prison population

According to a number of cast members the main issue that will plague Litchfield in Season 4 is going to be overcrowding. This seems to explain about all the new prisoners who we saw arriving at the end of Season 3! Our guess is that the arrival of new inmates will lead to problems when it comes to living arrangement and the number of prisoners that fit in a bunk, not to mention the issue of territory that happens in the kitchen.

Issues relating to overcrowding will reach into every nook and cranny of the prison. Kate Mulgrew tells TVGuide.com, “What creator Jenji Kohan is going to do that no other creator has been able to do with such expertise is, she’s going to make you feel overcrowded.”

Even more important is what a relationship would even look like for Suzanne Warren, played by Uzo Aduba.

Aduba tells TVGuide.com,”If she was with an equally yoked partner, I think that it would be very fulfilling. I think she would be in that space of openness and trying to learn. I think that she would be giving of her heart and her mind and her soul, in complete fullness and complete abandon. And that might be pretty, messy, sticky – but beautiful.”

The feud is going to continue between Sophia & Gloria

The feud is going to continue between Sophia & Gloria

Don’t expect a Sofia, played by Laverne Cox and Gloria, played by Selenis Leyva, to reconcile their differences any time soon – perhaps never. When asked if there’s a possibility that two women will makeup up, Cox is quick to say “No.”

It’s a bit hard to believe. After all, as you watch and see the remorse that Gloria feels, one wants to think that there is some hope for forgiveness, but this is quite bad. Leyva says this is really bad but it is hopeful.

Will we ever see Nicky again?

Will we ever see Nicky again?

It seems neither the Orange is the New Black writers nor Natasha Lyonne are about to confirm or deny whether Nicky is going to be returning to Litchfield, after getting sent to Maximum Security at the start of Season 3. In the probable event that she comes back, it is a given that her relationship with Red will be strained.
