Bell Jar Light

MoMA Copy
Your favorite objects will always look museum-worthy when showcased inside the only bell jar in the world with built-in lighting. A hand-blown glass dome sits on a painted wooden base, while cool-running LEDs with two diffusers provide even, beautiful illumination. USB powered. UK/EU/USA/Australia power adaptor included. Robot not included.

Curagami Note
We thought the jar came with the cool robot. Doesn't matter. Every collector we know would love to highlight this or that making MoMA's Bell Jar Light a great gift for the collectors on your list.

UNIQLO Keith Haring Hat

One of the key figures in New York's East Village art scene in the 1970s and 1980s, Keith Haring developed a unique and distinctly personal vocabulary of bold, graphic icons—barking dogs, flying saucers, winged figures, and a crawling "radiant baby"—which he combined with abstract marks and patterns in densely packed, compositions. The UNIQLO at MoMA collaboration aims to honor Haring's desire to make his work available to all. This piece is part of MoMA's Special Edition product collection and features artwork from MoMA's collection.

Curagami Note
Haring's sense of humor is welcomed when your head's cold. That's why we love MoMA's cap and it makes a great gift for anyone who lives in cold climates like New York or Chicago.

Keith Haring iPhone 6 Case Chaos, Clear

One of the key figures in New York's East Village art scene in the 1970s and 1980s, Keith Haring developed a unique and distinctly personal vocabulary of bold, graphic icons–barking dogs, flying saucers, winged figures, and a crawling "radiant baby"–which he combined with abstract marks and patterns in densely packed, allover compositions. This hard case offers artful protection for your iPhone 6 with figures from a work that is one of the artist's most joyful celebrations of love and life. Transparent background.

Curagami Note
If your boss, brother or mom is cool give her or him one of these protective yet cool Haring iPhone 6 smartphone case.

Jean-Michel Basquiat: Horn Players Plate

This vibrant porcelain plate features a detail of Jean-Michel Basquiat's 1983 painting Horn Players (1983), and stars Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie as the two depicted musicians. The New York born artist, who was deeply influenced by music and formed the experimental rock band Gray, was discovered as a graffiti painter in 1981. Basquiat soon gained international notice and critical acclaim for his visionary fusion of multicultural symbols, scathing social commentary, and frenetic graphic style. Many of his works are represented in MoMA's collection. Dishwasher and microwave safe.

Curagami Note
Have art lovers who also entertain? MoMA's Basquiat plate makes a great gift for a mom who cooks and loves art or a cool art loving boss.

UNIQLO Jean-Michel Basquiat Beanie

A native New Yorker, Basquiat made graffiti under the tag "SAMO" as a teenager, and produced postcards and T-shirts before establishing his studio practice. Though his career lasted barely a decade, Basquiat continues to have lasting relevance as a bridge between graffiti and the gallery, and as an influence on subsequent generations of artists. The UNIQLO at MoMA collaboration is inspired by the artist's own use of products like postcards and T-shirts as a vehicle for artistic ideas and by the enduring appreciation of his imagery. This piece is part of MoMA's Special Edition product collection and features art work from MoMA's permanent collection.

Curagami Note
Possibly even cooler and with a better story than the Haring knit cap, we love the Basquiat cap for anyone who lives or is headed to colder climates than our North Carolina. Heck we have one for our visits to Ohio and New York.

Basquiat Tray

The pattern on this porcelain tray is inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat’s work Return of the Central Figure (1983). Made in France.

Curagami Note
If you gave the plate you may need to give the tray too. Anyone who "gets" the plate deserves the Basquiat tray too. Great gift for those who like to entertain, cook and serve food.

Kazimir Watch

Inspired by the Suprematism art movement led by Kazimir Malevich, the bold shapes and colors of this watch shift composition with each second.

Curagami Note
We rarely wear watches anymore, but when we do the watch needs to be something special, something from MoMA like this Kazimir watch (we own one and love it). More jewelry than functional watch we wear our Kazimir to events where we know those gathered will appreciate the story. We love Malevich's art so this was an easy purchase. Our battery has run out (we had it for two years) and we may have to buy another since who knows how to change watch batteries anymore (lol).

Pollock Black & White Watch

This watch features a detail from Jackson Pollock's painting Untitled from 1954, which is featured in MoMA's collection. It's a simple and elegant timepiece that allows you to carry a piece of MoMA art on your arm every day. The water-resistant watch have Japanese high precision quartz movements and a two-year battery life.

Curagami Note
This is the watch we've ordered this year. We say MoMA's Pollack retrospective, but nothing this cool was in their gift shop then. Glad MoMA received permission now. Great gift for any Pollack fan on your list.

Mondrian White Watch

This watch features a detail from Piet Mondrian's painting Composition with Red, Blue and Yellow from 1937-42, which is featured in MoMA's collection. It's a simple and elegant timepiece that allows you to carry a piece of MoMA art on your arm every day. The water-resistant watch have Japanese high precision quartz movements and a two-year battery life.

Curagami Note
As cool as any SWATCH we've seen this year, MoMA's Mondrian watch reminds me of the artist's magical grid. If you have web designers on your list, this watch is a great gift since they live and design with grids day in and day out.
