Museu Picasso is a key reference for understanding the formative years of Pablo Ruiz Picasso. The genius of the young artist is revealed through the more than 3,800 works that make up the permanent collection. The museum is housed in five adjoining medieval palaces in Barcelona. It opened in 1963, becoming the first museum dedicated to Picasso's work and the only one created during the artist's life.
The Musée Picasso is an art gallery located in the Hôtel Salé in rue de Thorigny, in the Marais district of Paris dedicated to the work of the artist Pablo Picasso (1881-1973). The collection - Picasso's own - contains more than 3000 works, including drawings, ceramics, sculptures in wood and metal, and paintings.

The Berggruen Museum is a collection of modern art classics in Berlin, Germany, which the collector and dealer Heinz Berggruen gave to his native city for a price well below its actual value. In addition to 85 works by Pablo Picasso, artists on display include Alberto Giacometti, Georges Braque, Paul Klee and Henri Matisse. The Berggruen Collection is part of the National Gallery of Berlin. The museum is closed for renovations and will reopen Autumn 2012.

The Museo Picasso Málaga is a museum in Málaga, Andalusia, Spain, the city where artist Pablo Ruiz Picasso was born. It opened in 2003 in the Buenavista Palace, and has 285 works donated by members of Picasso's family. The museum is is only 200 metres (660 ft) from the Plaza de La Merced, where Picasso was born.

Château Grimaldi, in Antibes, France was Pablo Picasso's home for six months in 1946. Today it is home to the Picasso Museum. Picasso himself donated works to the museum, including "The Goat" and "La Joie de Vivre". In 1990 Jacqueline Picasso bequested many works by Picasso to the museum. Today the collection totals 245 works by Picasso.
Buitrago del Lozoya, Spain (a walled town of 11th century Moorish origins), possesses an interesting Picasso Museum. The works were donated by Picasso's barber and friend, Eugenio Arias Herranz. The museum was opened in 1985 and hosts a collection of 60 works, including ceramics, engravings, sketches and more.
