Visit the Tanah Lot Temple

This temple is among one of the most eminent cultural landmarks in Bali. The beautiful sunset views and the coastal line that sets the perfect backdrop for the Tanah Lot Temple makes it quite unique and gives it charm. The temple is basically an age old Hindu place of worship which is built beautifully on top of a rock projection, that is surrounded by the elegant sea waves and their everlasting tranquility. The site of the temple also hosts many other small places of worship along with various facilities for visitors such as shops, eateries and various cultural performances. The temple lies approximately 20 kilometers towards the north western side of Kuta.

The Tegallalang Rice Terraces

Imagine the beautiful sight of a lush green piece of land where rice plants laden heavy with harvest is beautifully landscaped to accommodate an ancient irrigation system known as a "subak". That is the blissful vista that awaits you at the Tegallalang Rice Terraces in Ubud. The Balinese history says that a man of clergy, Rsi Markandeya passed on the irrigation system and the land to the next generation which marked the beginning of this paddy field.

The Bali Safari and Marine Park

If you are looking for a fun-filled and leisurely day out for your entire family, try the Bali Safari and Marine Park. The park is well known as the biggest most often visited nature hangout in the country. The Bali Sagari and Marine Park was opened to the public in the year 2007 and since then has attracted many nature lovers and animal enthusiasts alike. The park approximately measures around 40 hectares located in the Gianyar region. The park also provides a safe haven for about 60 species. You could travel through the park by means of the safari bus and get caught up in the many amusement parks, elephant shows and beautiful aquarium.
