I have my books leveled with emoji stickers and my students are familiar with them :)
Thank you! This school was huge on Marzano and the use of scales. So I did a few different things. Students sometimes answered a couple of questions regarding the lesson and then placed their slip where they thought they fit with their understanding. I also had a general exit slip form that students would sometimes fill out and they just put it in the appropriate folder. I will try to post about that soon.
