Sandip Soparrkar is a German Trained Ballroom Dance Teacher, who is the first Indian to be certified by the 'Ballroom Dance Teachers Training School' in Bonn Germany. Sandip was the partner to the former European Ballroom Champion for nine years. In India now super model Jesse Randhawa is his dance partner. His diversity in dance includes reality show ‘Bharat Ki Shaan-Rumjhum’, where he was the finalist in the Duet segment. He worked closely with maestro Sandip Soparkar as an Assistant Choreographer on the show.  Deep’s talents extend into corporate performances,teaching as faculty in schools and other academies. He has worked closely with the Sony MSM network and choreographed and directed their 19th Anniversary Celebration. He has also recently represented India at the 42nd World Dance Congress, where he presented multiple performances and workshops which received an overwhelming response. He was personally certified and facilitated for the same by the President of CID-UNESCO, Dr. Alkis Raftis.
 
Deep has been trained in Modern, Contemporary, Jazz,Classical Ballet, Ballroom among many other forms by over 100 faculties across different parts of world including Mitchell Gibson, Akash Odedra, Pamela Pietro, Gregory Hancock, Duane Cyrus, Ava Bharucha, Smt. And after several years of dancing, I decided to take my form of art to a larger audience. In 2000, my first dance and gymnastics academy took shape - Phulawa's School of Dance & Gymnastics (PSDG). It has been hard work and immense dedication to impart the talents I have acquired and today PSDG is a well know institute teaching Gymnastics, Jazz, Ballet and Modern Contemporary, Hip-Hop and Indian Folk dance to students across all ages.

At PSDG, we have specialized programs at 3 levels; Basic, Intermediate and Advanced. Post the completion of all the 3 levels, our students are trained to specialize in any form of dance in India or abroad and to make dancing their career.

Kalanand Nritya Sanstha, in Thane (city which is almost a suburb of Mumbai), is an institute established to propagate and teach Kathak in its purest form. Kalanand was established in the year 1997 with a handful of students and loads of ambition. The goal was to impart pure Kathak training to all and give them thorough practical and theoretical knowledge of Kathak, to revive the fast diminishing art form and keep the tradition alive.
Discipline, rigorous training and total commitment are the highlights of Kalanand, followed with dedication and devotion by each and every student of the institute. 10 years down the line Kalanand can pride on hundreds of students being trained here. The basic education on dance here enables those graduating from here not only to become a 'Kathak Visharad' i.e. an expert in the art of Kathak but also makes him competent enough to adapt any style of dancing easily.
The Director of Kalanand Mrs. Bhavana Lele is a M.A.(Kathak) herself and has two decades of experience in teaching Kathak. Bhavana is a disciple of Mrs. Sanjeevani Kulkarni of Nasik and follows the well known Lucknow gharana. World renowned stalwarts like Pandit Birju Maharaj and Shri Munnalalji hail from the Lucknow gharana; Bhavana has been fortunate enough to get the tutelage and guidance from these two revered icons of Kathak.

Kalanand is affiliated to 'Gandharva Mahavidyalaya', the board for dance and music certification.
Classes are held twice a week at two locations, considering the areawise convenience of the students. Students appear for various examinations held by Gandharva Mahavidyalaya every year for certification and upgradation.
