Traditional braces use brackets that are fixed to the teeth, and wires that run through them, pulling the teeth into the right position over time. Digital impressions are made of your teeth and sent to a laboratory. A series of clear aligners are then created specifically for your teeth. Each set of aligners are worn for around 2 weeks, before moving on to the next set. Treatment varies from patient to patient, but usually between 18 to 36 sets of aligners are required, with treatment taking between 9 and 18 months.
