This leaderboard tracks the Twitter activity combined with Klout score of UK companies providing social customer care via Twitter.
I have chosen, where possible, those companies with dedicated Twitter customer service accounts.

How the Index is calculated:
The Index is made up of a combination of Klout score and Twitter activity (Mentions, Tweets and ReTweets). The Index is a relative weighted ranking. Currently all the scores are weighted the same so each metric is worth 25% of the available 100 points.
If you are top in one metric you get 100 points, second you get 98 points. This is then multiplied by the weighting for that metric, which is then added to your overall score ie. 25% of 100 gives you 25 points which is added to the index.
How ReTweets are calculated:
Retweets is by Followers and only those using Twitter Retweet. Hand-typed ReTweets do not count nor do ReTweets the company does.
