Jay Solnick earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brandeis University in Boston, Massachusetts and a law degree from Temple University School of Law.
Jay has extensive experience litigating a wide variety of cases and claims in the state and federal courts of southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The insight and experience gained throughout his career, including the years which he spent handling insurance defense cases, are now utilized to the benefit of his clients in pursuing their claims. Jay’s practice is focused in the areas of personal injury, insurance claims, and other matters involving the rights of individuals.
Jay is the proud father of two young girls and is an avid supporter of Temple University’s athletic programs as a member of the Temple University Owl Club Executive Board.

Kimberly Ruch-Alegant attended Drexel University, graduating in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and continued her education at the Temple University School of Law, graduating in 1999. She served as an editor on the Science and Technology Law Journal, publishing a paper on alternative dispute resolution. She has served on the board of directors of the Churchville Nature Center and Overington House. She is a past chair of the Women in the Profession Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and served a three year term on the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Kim is a trained mediator and arbitrator. She has planned a presented continuing education courses for lawyers. She was co-chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Annual Meeting of the Women in the Profession. She is currently active on the MaST Community Charter School’s parent liaison committee and is the moderator at the BuxMont Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. Kim represents people who have been injured as a result of an accident.

Thomas McTear graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice in 2006. Following his undergraduate education, he attended the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Touro Law Center and graduated Cum Laude in 2010. While earning his law degree, he served as the managing editor of the Touro International Law Review. Following school, he gained valuable experience litigating a variety of cases in Pennsylvania and New Jersey for various insurance companies in both subrogation and defense matters. He also served as law clerk for the Honorable Albert J. Cepparulo in the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas and was able to greatly expand his knowledge and understanding of the law. Tom now uses this experience and knowledge to vigorously represent his clients interests in the area of personal injury.

Prior to joining Solnick & Associates, Kelly worked in the legal field since 1987 as a legal assistant, paralegal and office coordinator. Kelly’s experience, passion for her work and her ongoing efforts to further her education in both the legal field and business management have made her well-equipped to handle her many job responsibilities, which include financial and facilities management and overseeing the firm’s human resources and marketing departments.
Kelly is currently continuing her education at Philadelphia University and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Association of Legal Administrators. Kelly enjoys traveling, reading, going to concerts and sports events and spending time with her family and friends. She is also very passionate about health and fitness and currently participates in a weight training program at her local gym in Southampton, PA.

Angela has been a paralegal for over 20 years with most of her career focusing in personal injury. She finds working at Solnick & Associates, LLC rewarding as the staff and attorneys are truly committed to their clients. She currently resides with her husband and three daughters in Lansdale, Pa.
Eric is a graduate of Temple University acquiring a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 2010. Prior to joining Solnick & Associates, Eric worked in the legal field since 2008 as a legal assistant, paralegal and law clerk. Working the entirety of his professional career on the plaintiff’s side of the legal world, he understands the detail and dedication it takes to bring a personal injury case to full fruition. In 2011, he entered Widener University School of Law to pursue his dream of becoming an attorney. A dedicated family man, Eric devotes his free time learning his wife’s native languages: Ukrainian and Russian. Eric also is a long time Philadelphia resident and is an avid Eagles and Flyers fan.
Bo has been with the firm since 2011 and is responsible for coordinating client files and interpreting for our Korean clients. Her main focus at Solnick & Associates, LLC is helping our clients understand the process of their case and fulfill their needs. She studied at Penn State University where she majored in Human Development and Early Childhood Education. Originally from South Korea, Bo currently resides in Abington, PA with her husband and enjoys watching television, traveling and fitness.
