I visited Lake Silverwood with a Meetup group for a weekend camping event. This recreational site in Hesperia, CA is host to a campground in a beautiful setting and is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. If you’re looking to go RVing, Silverwood Lake is a good option. They have a section with full hook-ups and another with primitive camp sites. One car is allowed to park at each site for free, additional cars cost $10/day to park. The check-in time for campers is 2pm. Because of its many amenities, Silverwood Lake is a good campsite for novices, families with children, and anyone who wants to get outdoors without leaving all the comforts of home behind.
