Susan B. Anthony once said, “Sweeter even than to have had the joy of children of my own has it been for me to help bring about a better state of things for mothers generally, so that their unborn little ones could not be willed away from them.” Life in the womb is precious and worth fighting for – but how? Whether you want to get involved in the pro-life cause or simply aren’t sure what you believe about this issue, you’ve come to the right place.
If your daughter came up to you and said, I'm tired of taking care of Grandma, I'm going to kill her, would you call a family meeting and discuss it and then leave the choice up to her?

The S.L.E.D. Test uncovers a few ways to logically discuss the value of human life. From this thought process, we can share the reality that personhood is not defined by Size, Level of Development, Environment or Dependency.

These are difficult conversations to have and at times are missed, but we must strive to appropriately give acknowledgment to the amazing gift of pregnancy and life regardless of how short or long that pregnancy or life is granted.
We invite people to share personal life-affirming stories and create a greater awareness of the sanctity of human life while inspiring one another to constructive action as it relates to the preborn child, women experiencing unexpected pregnancies or post-abortion regret, orphan care, those living with a special need, the elderly, human trafficking and genocide.
We must challenge the assumptions that portray abortion as a “necessary evil” with research, stories, art and real lives that offer countering visions. In so doing, we can refashion the image held within the cultural imagination of pregnancies as problems to be solved into one that envisions all children as blessings to society and all mothers as worthy of honor and support.
Our popular culture, especially in its discussion of the abortion debate, often confuses preference claims with moral claims. In Defending Life, borrowing from the work of my friend Hadley Arkes, I point out that moral claims are not about what people prefer, but rather, they are about what people ought to do, whether or not they prefer it.
Over a year ago, the series of awful videos emerged revealing that Planned Parenthood was selling the body parts of aborted babies. And this summer, the Supreme Court has reminded us once again that they claim to possess the authority to define human life. In its June decision, Whole Women’s Health, the Supreme Court struck down a Texas law that had successfully forced approximately half of the abortion clinics in the state to close.
As Christians, because we care deeply about life and death issues, we are often tagged as people who are standing against progress and the relief of suffering. Hence, we need help from experts to understand what is really going on in modern medicine and how to make a persuasive case in the public square for the Biblical views.
Americans United for Life is the legal architect of the pro-life movement. We are accumulating victories, building momentum, and advancing a culture of life in America.
Abby travels across the globe sharing her story, educating the public on pro-life issues, advocating for the unborn, and reaching out to abortion clinic staff who still work in the industry. She is the founder of And Then There Were None, a ministry designed to assist abortion clinic workers out of the industry.
We are Human Coalition—a collective of individuals bound together in answer to a common call: to do all we can to remove the stain of abortion from America. We are change agents—not simply because we are against abortion but because we are for life. We are for preborn babies who need to be protected in the womb; for women who should not have to choose the life of their baby for a fulfilling life; for families whose members should flourish in an environment of value and love; for mothers and fathers who deserve a chance at being mothers and fathers; and for society that needs all its children to live and thrive if it is to be called “civilized.”
We exist to partner with pregnancy resource centers and give abortion-vulnerable women a choice that will change their lives forever. We partner with resource centers all over the nation, providing them with powerful tools and training to more effectively connect with those women in their communities.
