Hong Kong hosts many international sports events such as horse racing, golf, rugby sevens, tennis & dragon boat races. These are some of the best sporting venues in Hong Kong.

King’s Park Sports Ground

King’s Park Sports Ground is one of the famous sporting venues in Hong Kong used as a multi-purpose sports facility that is conveniently located in Ho Man Tin. It is only 10 minutes distance from Jordan MTR station. The King’s Park Sports Ground is the biggest green area at Yau Tsim Mong which has 3 artificial grass pitches for games, the favourite of them all being rugby sevens. This is an excellent venue for field sports training and competitions while it is also used for corporate events, conferences and meetings. King’s Park is renowned as the home of Hong Kong Rugby.

Happy Valley Race Course

Horse racing is one of the essential things to do in Hong Kong especially for those who happen to be around during a weekly Wednesday evening race held here. Happy Valley Race Course is one of the well-known horse racing grounds that has been in existence since 1846 when the first ever horse race was held. Many of those tourists who love horse racing staying at a Hong Kong hotel nearby such as Dorsett Wanchai Hong Kong end up catching all the excitement at this historic venue. There are eager punters that pack into the stands and the trackside cheering, eating and drinking make the racing atmosphere quite electrifying like a carnival. Regular weekly horse races are held here with many attractive tourist packages on offer.

The World Dancer Performing Arts Federation

This is a famous place in Hong Kong that provides dance classes and performance opportunities for students with a wide range of dance classes for different age groups and different levels on offer. The Studio is located at Park Hovan Commercial Building, Hillwood Road, Tsim Sha Tsui. Dance lessons offered here include professional dance training for competitions, examinations and public performance for children and adults. Some of the dances taught here are ballroom, jazz funk, latin, Yoga, cha cha cha, Latin jazz, etc.

South China Athletic Association

The South China Athletic Association is one of the top class sporting places in Hong Kong with a 1000 square metre gymnasium, modern exercise machinery, aerobics room, a sauna, a steam room and a massage room all under one roof. As a member you will be eligible to have access to a wide range of sports facilities here. The SCAA is located on the 5th floor, South China Sports Complex, Caroline Hill Road, Cause Way Bay.

Wan Chai Sports Ground

Wan Chai Sports Ground is a government maintained sports complex mainly used by local schools in Hong Kong for their sports days and other athletic events. The stadium is located in Wan Chai North, Hong Kong Island. The ground has an eight-lane, 400 metre fully weather synthetic track with a natural turf infield that caters for any type of track and field activity. The sports ground is illuminated in the night with floodlighting of 450 lux.
