Web 2.0 Tools for Creating Original Artifacts - 3rd Grade Research (Final Project)

Here is a list of web 2.0 tools that will be useful for creating your original artifact about your historical figure. You can download an app for many of these tools so that you can work and create from your mobile device. This is just a short list with examples of tools that can be used for different purposes. If you find a different tool that you would like to use to create your artifact, let's discuss it in class. If others would like to use the tool I will add it to this list.

Weebly - Create a Blog

Weebly is a great tool for blogging. You could create a blog journal about your historical figure using this tool.

Blogger (Google) - Create a Blog

Google's Blogger is another great tool for creating a blog journal about your historical figure. The editing tools are easy to use and publishing your work is simple. Google also provides help guides online for all of their apps so you can easily find answers to your questions.

Vocaroo | Online voice recorder - Create a Podcast

Vocaroo is a quick and easy way to create and share podcasts. It is easy to use and no downloads are required for use.

Adobe Spark - Create a Video

You can use this tool to turn your ideas about your historical figure into graphics, web stories, and animated videos.

Soundtrap - Create a Podcast

You can use this tool to create a podcast about your historical figure. You can even add music.

Wevideo - Create a Video

Make and share a video about your historical figure using this tool.

ABCya! - Create a Cartoon/Animation

Use this tool to create a cartoon or animation about your historical figure.

PowToon - Create a Cartoon

You can use PowToon to create cartoons and animations. This tool also allows you to add text and audio to your cartoons.

Seesaw - Create a Video or a Podcast

Remember that you can create and upload a video or audio recording directly in your Seesaw journal using the tools within this app. This tool can be used to create a video or a podcast.
