OP Place or the Oriental Plaza is where you will find antique stone elephants and exotic Thai handicrafts. The place is also highly recommended for a good browse even if you are not taking back any artefacts. The department store is more a gallery, home to 50 boutiques displaying uniquely exotic creations that are inspiring and quite tempting; it will come as no surprise if you find yourself purchasing antiques or unique ornaments for your home from OP Place. The mall while being a base for admiring the work of fine arts is also host to jewellery and tailor stores offering the finest crafts and skills in both sectors. If you are staying at a luxury hotel in Bangkok you will love the traditional décor and vintage pieces adorning the hotel and rooms, which is why a visit to OP Place sitting close to the Chao Phraya River and Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok is recommended.
