Chinese foot binding was used to get a husband. Only girls would foot bind it was thought to be stylish. You would first put you fee into hot water with herbs then drie them. Next you would clip all the toe nails and break all the toes to. You would then bandage your feet so all the toes but the big toe are almost under your feet. You would tighten the bandage every day and were not allowed to take the bandage off. Chinese foot binding got band from China about 100 years ago because it was very bad for the feet. The Chinese people would wear shoes with a pint at the top.
