The Top Vehicle Wrapping Trends

Vehicle wrapping is becoming an increasingly popular trend in the UK and easy to achieve from a vehicle customising company. Commonly using vinyl wraps, vehicle wrapping is a fast and safe way to customise and create a visual impact with your car or van, for a unique look. Whether you’re a business owner looking to improve your brand awareness with a company themed wrap, or an individual wanting to make a statement with a sleek design, here are the latest vehicle wrapping trends to inspire you:

1

Contrasting finishes

Contrasting finishes

To really make an impact, car owners have also started to wrap their vehicles with contrasting textures and finishes. For instance, a matte effect basecoat can be made more interesting with gloss-finish detailing over the top, or the other way around. Again this gives you the chance to experiment with texture and offers a high-quality, impressive result that’s easy to achieve. If you’d like help deciding on a new vehicle wrap or if you’re based in Hampshire and would like a specialist vehicle wrapper to apply your design, you can call the Pro-Tints team on 01794 367088 or email sales@pro-tints.co.uk.

Partial wraps

Though nothing new, partial wraps are becoming more sophisticated and give you a great opportunity to create a statement custom design. Instead of having your whole vehicle wrapped, you can opt for an area to be wrapped to separate areas of colour or texture. Partial wraps also give you the chance to experiment with eye-catching graphics and unique prints – they’re quick and easy to apply, remove and re-apply.

A matte finish

It seems that less is more for the more impressive vehicle wraps, as glossy finishes are being dropped in favour of a less showy matte finish. A matte effect can attract a lot of attention however with minimal colours, especially at night where a glossy wrap would lose its sheen near bright lights. A block colour matte vehicle wrap is a subtle yet stylish way to highlight the shape of the bodywork without getting glare.

4

Embossed textured wraps

Although already popular in other areas of design, embossing is a more recent trend to take hold in the vehicle wrapping scene. Embossed and textured wraps form a 3D look with enhanced light reflection. This technique creates a similar effect to the high-quality carbon fibre panels seen in race cars, and can really make certain parts of the design stand-out distinctly. This makes embossed textured wraps brilliant for vehicles displaying company logos, or for more realistic designs with shading.
