Akershus University Hospital is located in Lørenskog, Norway and is considered one of, if not the most modern hospital in Europe. Designed by an award-winning Danish architectural firm C. F. Harlem Hospital is notable for its murals that were commissioned in 1936 to brighten the building up. Renovated in 2012, these murals have now been digitally restored printed on backlit glass which turn the hospital’s new patient pavilion into a vibrant piece of historic art. Five stories high and the width of a New York City block it is a pretty unmissable building!.

Perhaps one of the most iconic looking hospitals, the London Bridge Hospital can boast an incredible location, as well as world-renowned medical specialists.
