Anse Source d'Argent

Petite Anse

Simply pack some refreshments and head for the well-known Grand Anse. Once you are there go along in a northern direction on the pathway that leads to Petite Anse. This journey on foot will take you about 15 minutes but those who make the effort will be greatly rewarded. When you arrive at Petite Anse you will encounter an attractive stretch of beach with white sands and turquoise-hued shallows. Perhaps best of all you will probably be alone on this beach, with just an occasional seabird passing by overhead.

Anse Lazio

This splendid stretch of beach features an extent of silvery sands adorned by massive boulders, takamaka trees and coconut palms creating an idyllic sight. In fact this wonder of nature is often regarded as the most picturesque beach within the entirety of the Seychelles. As this beach features calm shallow waters for the greater part of the year, it is a popular attraction for families. You will find huge boulders at both extremities of the beach, in addition to verdant vegetation that gives the beach a pristine, untamed atmosphere. Anse Lazio is a great place for snorkelling and swimming. If you desire to replenish your energies you will find two restaurants on the beachfront.

Bird Island

This well-known island in the Seychelles is sure to appeal to nature lovers. You will encounter picturesque beaches and indigo coloured waters here, as well as a flourishing reef system on its eastern flank which makes for remarkable snorkelling experiences. The waters of Bird Island are renowned for their amazing living creatures such as large fish, dolphins and sometimes even sharks. However its most remarkable attraction may be the turtles that arrive at the island to lay their eggs. During the period between October and the month of February, visitors will have the opportunity to watch the turtles crawling onto the beaches to lay their eggs.
