Lifetime Benefit Solutions was born from the merger of two benefits administration firms, EBS-RMSCO and Support Services Alliance, Inc (SSA). When Lifetime Benefit Solutions, a national benefits administration company, chose ACS, Inc. Web Design & SEO to launch their new brand’s online presence, our team was excited for the opportunity and challenge to develop a website that would be used by tens of thousands of clients on a daily basis.

ACS, Inc. Web Design & SEO embraced the technical challenge of converting multiple online properties into one website. Lifetime Benefit Solutions’ online properties included three sites and multiple apps that were used daily as part of their clients’ core operations.

Early in our process, we identified concerns from the previous EBS-RMSCO and SSA websites, specifically that the sites were difficult to navigate, making it inconvenient and time consuming to access needed resources. Knowing this, ACS, Inc. developed the new site to make it easy for users to find resources in as few clicks as possible.

Through multiple, thorough preliminary workshops, interviews and collaboration with representatives from all Lifetime Benefit Solutions’ departments and vendors, ACS, Inc. was able to craft an informed strategy for site development which resulted in a successful launch of the new, user-friendly lifetimebenefitsolutions.com.

The Project:
Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists (SOS) is a premier orthopedic medical practice with several offices in the Syracuse area. SOS and ACS, Inc. Web Design & SEO are developing multiple websites for each of SOS’ specific medical specialties. Because of this, SOS needed a website design that provided unified branding from one SOS site to the next, allowing for seamless navigation from one SOS site to the next. In addition to streamlined user interaction with SOS sites, SOS needed to be able to easily edit and update their sites.

The Solution:
SOS’ main site has been launched with a design that will remain consistent across all SOS sites, allowing almost no noticeable change when navigating from one site to the next, and providing users with a familiar experience. In addition to SOS’ site looking and working equally well on all devices, SOS received one content management system (CMS) that allows SOS to update all their sites, making site maintenance simple and convenient.

Clarke's Landscaping Solutions is a landscaping company that was in need of a professional online presence that could be utilized in conjunction with future marketing campaigns. The site needed to provide visitors with an informative overview of Clarke's Landscaping Solutions' services. In addition, Clarke's Landscaping Solutions' online presence needed a design that distinguished itself from its competitors'. The site’s design also needed to be optimized for generating leads.

Alexander & Catalano is a personal injury law firm with offices across New York State. Considering that Alexander & Catalano have been the vanguard of legal marketing for over 20 years, the law firm chose to partner with ACS, Inc. Web Design & SEO for a cutting edge website redesign. Additionally, Alexander & Catalano's new site required the ability to easily edit site content while providing necessary security for potential clients' contact form submissions. S.T.A.T. Communications is a Watertown, NY based provider of home and commercial security services, such as video monitoring, alarm systems and more. After a poor experience with a previous website developer, S.T.A.T. Communications looked for a reliable website design company. With ACS, Inc. Web Design & SEO’s over 17 years of satisfactory website designs for hundreds of clients, S.T.A.T. Communications and ACS, Inc. partnered together for a website redesign project. In addition to a reliable professional relationship, S.T.A.T. Communications wanted their new website to have a more modern look. As well as improved aesthetics, the new S.T.A.T. Communications website aimed to improve the site’s user friendliness, including more information about provided services and easily accessible support information and apps to help S.T.A.T. Anoplate, Inc., based in Syracuse, NY, is an established industrial metal finishing company. Anoplate, Inc. partnered with ACS, Inc. Web Design & SEO to modernize Anoplate’s website. As well as an updated aesthetic, the new anoplate.com aimed to improve usability. Anoplate’s extensive services required intuitive information architecture to make it easy for clients to find what they’re looking for. Anoplate’s modernized website redesign also needed to accurately represent the company’s established branding. Anoplate staff also needed to be able to easily update site content, allowing for various departments to manage their online resource. Fort Orange Claims Unlimited Services (FOCUS) is an insurance adjuster agency with locations throughout New York State. FOCUS’ website had a dated design and was thin on information. FOCUS needed a modern website redesign and the ability to easily edit and update their site’s content.

The Solution:
The new FOCUS site features a mobile-friendly, modern and professional website design. The site includes more content, providing detailed information on FOCUS’ services and company, including a staff directory and a dedicated page about FOCUS’ areas of expertise. In addition to a need for updated secure eCommerce features, Brannock Device Co. needed a more modern design to improve aesthetics, user-friendliness and to accommodate the growing number of people who shop online through mobile devices.

The Solution:

A payment gateway is the online equivalent of where a customer swipes their card at a brick-and-mortar store. Geddes Federal Savings provides loans and savings products for the greater Syracuse area. Geddes site needed a modern website design, and a more user-friendly online experience. Geddes also wanted more control over their site’s content, such as being able to easily edit interest rates for their loan and service products. Brighton Hill Pediatrics is a pediatric medical practice in Syracuse, NY. Brighton Hill Pediatrics sought our services for a mobile-friendly redesign of their website. In addition to making the site look and work equally well on smartphones, tablets, desktops and laptops, Brighton Hill Pediatrics wanted to maintain the childhood spirit that was characteristic of its existing website design. The new Brighton Hill Pediatrics site also aimed to allow Brighton Hill Pediatrics' administrators to easily maintain the site's blog and edit provider profile pages through a custom content management system (CMS).

G&C Foods has been a valued client for many years and we have been happy for the opportunities to build corporate intranets, custom applications and their previous website for them. When they decided it was time to update their branding and move forward with a responsive site with a custom CMS we were well equipped to deliver the perfect solution.

G&C Foods has an impressive selection of products ranging in the thousands of items, We created a CMS that could update and handle this level of entries and carefully accounted for all the previous pages in their website when performing our migration. We also utilized schema data to make the products easily understood by the search engines of the world. Our design focused on their stated branding goals and we worked closely together to craft a beautiful and informative resource for potential customers and staff alike.

The Project:
Eyecare of CNY needed an up to date redesign of their existing site. They had also been stuck with a site that they could not edit or change for far too long. The business had grown over the years and even opened an additional location, they needed their new presence to reflect those changes and also be flexible enough to grow with them. The age of their existing site had helped to earn them great visibility in search for some local terms and we were sure to consider this when recreating their architecture.

The Solution:
We created a custom content management solution that included many features tailored specifically to their needs and business practices. Educational, contact and product information is very easy to find even for the least savvy of web users. Eyecare of CNY also has frequent new additions to their product lines and offers many specials to new and returning clients. We built special dedicated features that allowed for easy management of their new additions. We were able to clearly highlight their multiple locations and create easy ways for clients and customers to find their locations. Of course, we also maintained and improved on search visibility during our migration.

The Project:
Fat Nancy's had an existing website with a popular river report feature but lacked a functioning eCommerce option. They have a very loyal and active customer base that reads their blog and checks in on the river report, opening up their website to online sales was identified as a priority for their development.

The Solution:
We created a custom theme for the Shopify eCommerce system and created a fully responsive experience that made their information and products available to their customers no matter where they might be. We created a beautiful experience that really captures the charm of their region and showcased their great selection of products. The improved River report is still accessible just as it always was to returning visitors who get pleasantly surprised by all the upgrades to the site.

The Project:
The Pike Block apartments needed a website to appeal to young professionals and students looking to live and work in downtown Syracuse. Their target audience was to be artistic and creative by nature with an affinity for music and art.

The Solution:
We adopted a "grunge" experience throughout the site with the concrete wall pattern and large urban photography. We also felt the best way to appeal to this audience, promote interest in the site and the product, would be to be unique to all the other sites delivering we tried something a little different and created a flexible horizontal site architecture.
