Hello DIY‘ers! After a looooong wedding weekend in Burgos, I’m ready to show you more DIY‘s! (Check out some beautiful wedding location pics on my INSTAGRAM) Today I will show you how I transformed a winter overalls (an impulse buy, without thinking) in to a much more practical summer overalls. I mention this because when I saw these overalls in the store I fell in love and bought them without thinking that these aren’t a very practical garment when you have to take 30 layers of clothing off every time you have to go to the bathroom in winter. (you can imagine what I mean, right?) Apart from this small detail, the bloody overalls had no pockets! And let’s face it, overalls that don’t have pockets to put your hands and strike an interesting pose…ARE NOT COOL! So here is a little DIY transformation: DIY overalls with pockets.
It’s official ! I am addicted to dungarees/overalls ! And this season they are certainly a must! Whether they are denim (old school style) for a more casual and relaxed look, or other fabrics and cuts a little more modern, for a polished look for work.
In my DIY Jean Shorts post I had mentioned my aunt giving me a pile of clothes. In that pile was a pair of overalls straight from the 90’s with cutesy flower and ribbons embroidered all over it.

Transform a pair of jeans to some cute overall shorts! be creative and try using floral or colored jeans :D
Overalls have a love hate relationship with me. Everyone seems to love them in Summer but I've always been a bit meh. I wore a pinafore (the dress version).
