Google Cardboard is a form of virtual and augmented reality. Google created a headcount for a smart phone where you can watch videos and take virtual field trips to crazy places like Thailand or Europe! Students will love to get what seems like a hands on touch with this virtual and augmented reality technology.
Quiver is an augmented reality app that allows students to print out selceted coloring pages from their website. Students can color sheets that cover core curriculum like plant and animal cells or even the continents! After coloring, students can see what they had just created pop off the page and come to life. The app also allows to have quizzes and interactive characters and sounds.
An augmented reality app that allows any image to come to life. You can use whatever image you want as a "trigger" that would show a video of any subject. This would be a great tool to use for students to enjoy getting involved in a classroom setting.
A fun website that allows you to create a quiz in the form of the game. Students can access your quiz with either a smart phone, tablet, or computer. This would give your students a taste of a little competition in a fun way.
This website allows you to create any question and have people answer via website or a simple text. It offers various differemt layouts from a cloud wall to simple lists. It also offers the option of having answers anonymous or not.
Show me is a website where teachers can create videos on anything either live or recorded that students may find on either a phone, tablet, or computer.
Students are assigned a QR codes for teachers to be able to tell what the students answer. The card includes 4 different angles that stand for A,B,C, and D. The teacher could then go around and scan the room for answers!
Edmodo is a website that can be accessed through computer, phone, or tablet. The layout is similar to Facebook and allows teachers to make posts about upcoming assignments or assign homework. Students and parents may access calendars, assignments, and quizzes.
Is an augmented reality app that allows students to print out educational work sheets to scan. These pages will come to life. This tool is great for kids by combining an interactive tool and making it educational. The teachers print sheets out from the Quiver website and the kids color to their desire. With the use of iPads, the students can bring their drawings to virtual reality. Their drawing is made interactive and can include quizzes or readings about the drawing. With this combination, learning is made fun.
