Kahoot!

Kahoot!

https://kahoot.it/#/
This is a website where students enjoy answering questions off of the projector from their personal electronic devices.

2

Class Dojo

Class Dojo

https://www.classdojo.com/
A website founded on the idea of helping to navigate behavior of your class through an online, interactive site.

3

Quiver

Quiver

http://quivervision.com/

This is one of my favorite tools. I love how it is very interactive yet educational. The students begin by coloring a sheet printed from the Quiver website. After coloring, they hold an iPad over their masterpiece and watch it come to life. On the iPad, their drawings will be interactive, some including readings or quizzes.

ShowMe

ShowMe

http://www.showme.com/

An amazing tool for teachers, this application enhances teaching. The teacher records themselves teaching a lesson. Their voice is heard and the screen shows what the teacher is writing. The lessons can be saved and shared numerous times, all over the world. This is very beneficial to student learning if they miss a lesson, need to relearn part of it, or they are able to explore and find other teachers on the subject that will better help them to understand the lesson.

Google Docs

Google Docs

https://www.google.com/docs/about/

Perfect for collaboration, this allows for the creation of presentations or documents from many devices. As a college student, this is used a lot in group projects. We are all able to work on the same document at the same time. We can see others working, add on to it, and all have our own copies of it. It allows for ease of group presentations, especially if we are not able to be in the same location all together.

6

Socrative

Socrative

http://www.socrative.com/

Socrative enables the teacher to assess the students learning as a group. Through individual devices, each student is able to answer the question. Overall, it helps the teacher to understand where the students need reteaching. Socrative has features for a quiz, quick question, space race (a competitive assessment), or for exit slips.

7

Edmodo

Edmodo

https://www.edmodo.com/

Edmodo allows better connection and collaboration between students, teachers, and parents. Teachers can communicate with the parents about classwork and keep them updated on their student's progress. This also gives parents the opportunity to better communicate with the parents. Overall, it only enhances students learning through this mutual collaboration of the student's success and progress.

8

Creately

Creately

http://creately.com/

This website encourages group collaboration for presentations. It's not my favorite, however, it is effective and is easy to use. As a group we could create and share our presentations.

9

PollEverywhere

PollEverywhere

https://www.polleverywhere.com/

Collectively, the class can answer question from their electronic devices. I love PollEverywhere because of all of its different functions. Question types include multiple choice, open ended, question and answer, rankings, and clickable images. With the variety of ways teachers can receive feedback, the teachers learn more about their students leaning. It also allows for the different types of learners to demonstrate their knowledge on the subject.

Plickers

Plickers

https://plickers.com/

The teacher will print off cards from the Plicker website. Each student gets their own card and will use it to answer the question. The questions will be displayed on the board and each side of the card will represent a different letter answer. The students will hold the card with their letter choice upright, and the teacher will go around, using their device to scan all of the cards and collect the data. It's a fun, interactive way to test the students and allows for privatization of answers. It also does not require students to have their own devices, which sets it apart from other websites.
