Choosing one island over another is an impossible task as all Maldivian islands are equally beautiful, the water that engulfs them are pure and blue and the lush greenery is breathtaking.
For administrative convenience, the Maldivian islands numbering over one thousand have been segregated into twenty atolls based on their location. The capital city of Malé is located on an island towards the centre of the archipelago.
