My Rameswaram » Ramar Paatham (Alias Ram Jaruga)
Ramar Paatham, also known as Ram Jaruga, is a temple dedicated to the footprints of Lord Rama. It is located on a sandy hillock called Gandha Madhana Parvatham.
The name "Parvatham" means mountain, and according to the Ramayana, a mount existed here in ancient times. The temple features Lord Rama’s feet engraved on a stone chakra, making it a revered spiritual site in Rameswaram.
